The first edition of the Arab- African Energy Finance & Investment Forum ( AAFEF 2026 ) will take place from 4 – 5th June 2026 in Dakar, Senegal. Held under the High Patronage of His Excellency Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, President of the Republic of Senegal.

organised by AME trade Ltd with the institutional support and endorsement of Africa Energy Investment Corporation (AEICORP) and the Ministry of Energy, Petroleum and Mines, Senegal. AAFEF 2026 will be the largest dedicated strategic event designed to connect Gulf capital with African Resources.

This all-encompassing event will feature two days of high-level conference debates: interactive workshops and a co-located trade exhibition designed to enable companies and institutions to showcase their goods and services.

AAFEF 2026 will bring together regional and international financial institutions, multilateral financial agencies, private equity, institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, national and international energy companies, government and other industry stakeholders to explore effective finance solutions and strategies for unlocking Africa’s energy potential across the value chain, simultaneously showcasing major oil & gas investment projects in the region. The event will be the meeting place to satisfy the growing and necessary interest from the Gulf States in Africa’s energy industry.

The Gulf and Africa find themselves on an intersecting path, the first Arab African Energy, Finance & Investment Forum (AAFEF 2026) will be a crucial platform for Africa’s and the Gulf’s energy leaders to develop a bilateral strategy to develop a win-win partnership to develop sustainable investment in the economic transformation of the African’s continent’s energy sector.

Senegal is well positioned to host the inaugural edition, with a stable investment environment, as demonstrated by the recent major oil and gas discoveries at Greater Tortue Ahmeyim and Sangomar which underpins its energy development plans and journey towards universal electricity access.
